Jeremy! from Mooshe Nickerson on Vimeo My senior thesis for the Savannah College of Art & Design, "Jeremy" focuses on the idiyosicries of gender politics through the eyes of tween-age girls. By appropriating and illustrating quotations from online tween forums the film both documents and playfully comments on the triviality of dating in both their world and that of an older audience. The film premiered at Animation Block Party 2009 (Brooklyn, NY). Additionalilly it has been screened at Citrus Cell Animation Film Festival 2010 (Jacksonville, FL), SCADAnimate! 2009 (Savannah, GA), International Digital Cinema Festival and Entertainment Technology Expo 2009 (Macau, China) Rhinocorn: Adopted Story from Mooshe Nickerson on Vimeo. A baby rhino wants to grow up to be just like her adopted unicorn dads. |
Mooshe Nickerson appreciates animation and appropriation and alliteration. Her favorite activities involve breakfast, bathing and breakfast. Her favorite animals are baby rhinos, adult cats, any giraffes and the critically endangered saiga!
